Pillar Family Lawyers is a specialist family law firm assisting clients across Parramatta & Western Sydney with clear legal advice, strong negotiation and confident representation.
We understand that separation and family law matters often involve significant financial, personal and emotional considerations. Our role is to provide structured, strategic guidance so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Whether your matter involves parenting arrangements, property division or complex financial issues, we are focused on achieving outcomes that are practical, fair and sustainable.

A Clear and Strategic Approach to Family Law
At Pillar Family Lawyers, we approach every matter with careful preparation and a clear strategy from the outset.
Through strong negotiation and structured mediation, we aim to resolve matters efficiently wherever possible. However, our approach is always grounded in being fully prepared to proceed to court at a moment’s notice if required.
This ensures that:
- negotiations are conducted from a position of strength
- your matter is properly prepared at every stage
- you are not disadvantaged if court proceedings become necessary
Focused on Financially Meaningful Outcomes
Family law matters often involve the division of significant assets, including:
- the family home
- investment properties
- superannuation
- business interests
We provide financially informed legal advice to help protect your interests and achieve a fair outcome.
Our focus is on ensuring that your settlement supports your long-term financial stability, not just short-term resolution.
Child-Focused and Future-Focused
In parenting matters, the law requires decisions to be made in accordance with the best interests of the children.
We take a child-focused approach to all parenting matters, working to develop arrangements that are:
- practical and sustainable
- focused on the needs of the children
- structured to reduce future conflict
Where appropriate, we assist clients through negotiation and mediation processes to reach agreements that support stability and long-term outcomes for families.
Acting Quickly to Protect Your Position
In some matters, there may be a risk that the other party may attempt to dissipate, conceal or restructure assets.
Where this risk exists, we act quickly to:
- preserve the asset pool
- protect your financial position
- ensure appropriate legal steps are taken without delay
In other matters, a party may have a desprate need for financial support because they were the primary carer of the children and the homemaker with no income and totally dependent on the breadwinner. In those situations we may quickly negotiate a lump sum amount or a weekly payment to support that party in need of spousal maintenance or if necessary proceed with an urgent court application.
In other matters still, there may be a risk that a parent is planning to move overseas, interstate or somewhere making it difficult for the children to spend time with and have a meaningful relationship with the other parent. If that was a risk, we act quickly to stop the move altogether until there is a final hearing by a court with all the evidence.
Early action in these situations is critical to achieving a fair outcome.
